Anderson County deputies say they are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Exxon on 4507 Clemson Boulevard in Anderson.

They say just before noon, a man entered the gas station to play scratch off lottery tickets for almost a half hour.

Then deputies say he pointed a handgun at the clerk and a relative in the store visiting her and forced both of them into a storage room and had them lie on the floor.

Deputies say the gunman then left the scene with some money.  They say the man was captured on surveillance video and deputies released still photos of him and the truck he may have been driving.

They say the gunman is a man in his mid 40's, wearing glasses, a gray zip up hoodie, khaki cargo pants and running shoes.

Deputies also say he was driving a small white single cab pickup with chrome rims.

If you have any information on who this man is or what happened, call the Anderson County Sheriff's Office at (864) 260-4400 or Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
