Roebuck, SC - A Spartanburg County man is dead Saturday following an accident that killed one, and hospitalized two others, including a child.

Bryan Jeter, 48, of Pauline, died at the scene of the accident on Walnut Grove Road near West Road in Roebuck Saturday afternoon, stated Rusty Clevenger.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident caused all three persons to be entrapped inside their vehicles. Emergency crews arrived using mechanical means to remove Jeter from his 1994 Chevy pickup truck and another woman as well as a child from a 2003 GMC Yukon.

All persons involved in the collision were restrained by safety belts, including the child who was in a car seat at the time of the accident, according to the Highway Patrol.

Spartanburg Regional Hospital says the driver of the SUV is in stable condition, but no word on the child's condition.
