Man Arrested After Months Of Graffiti In Spartanburg's Westside

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. - A man has been arrested and accused of spray painting the letters "ish" across Spartanburg for the past several months.

Police say Patrick Ryan Baird, 29, was taken into custody Monday after being spotted behind the Dorman Center Walmart acting suspiciously.  Investigators say Baird ran from them, but was arrested by an officer after a short chase to the Camelot subdivision.

Spray paint and a stencil were found in his backpack.

Baird admitted to spray painting "ish" and other symbols and animals in dozens of locations on the westside of Spartanburg.

Thirty one warrants were signed on Baird.  Each warrant is signed for vandalism and illegal graffiti.
