The Anderson County Coroner's Office has confirmed the identity of the woman who was found under the floor of a home on Amy Street Tuesday as that of Frankie Eugenia Black. ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. - The Anderson County Coroner's Office has confirmed the identity of the woman who was found under the floor of a home on Amy Street Tuesday as that of Frankie Eugenia Black.  Black was reported missing last year.

The coroner's office says Black has been dead since the time she was last seen around July 2011.

An Anderson County woman tells deputies she and her boyfriend found the body under the floor boards of her home.  It happened around midnight at 107 Amy Street, just off Highway 29 in Anderson County.

Lisa Adams said she and a friend were cleaning out the back bedroom in her home when they moved a mattress and her friend fell through a hole in the floor.

“I got to looking and I said, 'Randy, there's a foot. There's a leg.' He said, 'There's a hip and a thigh. Let's get the hell out of here,'" said Adams.

It was a badly decomposed body.

Adams said the man who lived in that room moved out about a year and a half ago before giving her the home the pay off a debt.

Anderson County Chief Deputy Coroner Charles Boseman said it's likely Adams didn't smell the body for two reasons. First, he said the room was full of smelly trash. Second, he said the body was covered with so much cat litter, it nearly concealed the body.

Investigators say Black was in a car accident in 1986 and had a plate put in her left ankle as a result.  That plate was one of the things that helped the coroner identify the body.
