Hendersonville Man Arrested For Indecent Liberties With A Child

Deputies say Johnny Wayne Johnson was arrested for taking indecent liberties with a child. Deputies say Johnny Wayne Johnson was arrested for taking indecent liberties with a child.

Henderson County Deputies say they've arrested a Hendersonville man for taking indecent liberties with a child under the age of 16.

Deputies arrested 70 year old Johnny Wayne Johnson Thursday.

They say Johnson was employed by Western North Carolina Community Action as a driver for Apple Country Transportation at the time of his arrest.


Deputies

say Johnson was booked into the Henderson County Detention Center and was placed under a $20,000 secured bond.
 
Johnson will have his first appearance in Henderson County District Court Friday.

They say the investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
