Posted: Updated:
Greenville County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an armed robbery at a cash advance store Saturday morning.

The robbery happened around 10:30 a.m. at the Approved Cash Advance store at 2400 North Pleasantburg Drive. According to a spokesman for the sheriff's office, two men entered the store with their faces covered and pointed a gun, possibly a shotgun, at the clerk. The men demanded money and the clerk complied. The men managed to get an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot.

Sheriff's deputies searched the area, but were unable to find the suspects. They are described as 6'0" tall with slender builds and wearing clothing that covered their entire bodies. Deputies were checking to see if there were any other features to distinguish the suspects as the investigation continues.

If anyone has any information about the robbery or the suspect's whereabouts they are asked to contact Crimestoppers at 23-CRIME
