SPARTANBURG, S.C. - A Spartanburg woman is out on bond after being arrested in a frying pan attack.

According to a police report, Kendaice McAbee was arrested late Wednesday night after she hit the father of her child with a frying pan.

The report states the two were arguing because the child's father, who does not live with Ms. McAbee, would not help carry the child down the stairs.

The victim says during the argument Ms. McAbee became obnoxious and belligerent and started to hit him so he was going to leave.

He says when he tried to exit, she blocked the door.

He left the area for a moment and when he returned she began hitting him with a frying pan.

The police report says McAbee was still hitting him with the frying pan while he was on the phone with emergency dispatchers.

McAbee was arrested for Criminal Domestic Violence. She was taken to the Spartanburg County Jail.
