OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. - The Oconee County Coroner's Office says a Westminster man died in a crash around 10:15 Sunday morning.

Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis says 64-year-old Sidney Michael Allagood from Westminster, SC died at Greenville Memorial Hospital due to multiple trauma.

It happened on Sandifer Boulevard and Grace Way. The Coroner says a man riding a motorcycle turned and veered into the wheels of a passing tractor trailer. Both were traveling east.

The motorcycle rider was airlifted to Greenville Memorial, where he died just before noon.

The coroner says this is the third traffic death this year - matching last year's total.
