Police in Anderson are investigating an accident Sunday night. They got the call around 7:20 Sunday night on Williamston Road near Nalley Drive, near the Anderson University athletic fields.

Our coverage partners at the Anderson Independent Mail report it was a head on collision between two cars - a Toyota and a Kia.

Three people were entrapped, two in the Toyota and one in the Kia. The Independent Mail reports the Anderson Fire Department says two people were thrown from a Toyota. Six people were transported to An-Med.

Five of those were considered life threatening.
