PC Professor Scarborough Wins Clinton Town Council Seat

CLINTON, S.C. - Voters in the town of Clinton elected a new Presbyterian College Professor as its newest member of town council.

Presbyterian College Business Professor Norman Scarborough received 80 votes to claim 61 percent of the vote and win the Ward 5 seat. Challengers Josh Lindsay and Danny Fortney received 29 and 22 votes, respectively.

Scarborough replaces Robert McLean, who left his Ward 5 seat when he was elected Mayor last year.
