OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. - The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in their search for Richard Alan Marszalek who was reported missing over the weekend.

According to investigators, a niece of 61 year old Richard Alan Marszalek came to the Oconee County Law Enforcement Center this past Saturday to report that her uncle had been missing since December 29th, 2013.

Marszalek was reportedly last seen walking down West Spearman Road sometime before the New Year. Marszalek’s last known address is 141 West Spearman Road, which has since been destroyed by fire.

Mr. Marszalek has a history of medical problems and is under VA care, according to investigators. Marszalek is a white male, 5’8” tall with gray hair and blue eyes.
