Sandvik Announces $12 Million Expansion In Westminster

The manufacturer of carbide inserts for the metal cutting industry will invest $12 million dollars into the plant in Oconee County to increase production.

Sandvik creates products and carbide inserts that are used in mechanical engineering, automotive, oil and gas, and aerospace applications. 

There was no mention of adding jobs at the facility in Tuesday's announcement.
