The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office says new surveillance video connects three business robberies throughout Spartanburg County and the city.

The new video shows the man during a robbery at the Lil Cricket on Garner Road and during the robbery of the Lil Cricket on Valley Falls Road.

Surveillance video from Spartanburg Public Safety appears to show the same man at a robbery at the Citgo on North Pine Street, according to officers.

“Same clothing description, and once we pulled the video we were able to pull some decent pictures of the suspect,” said Capt. Regina Nowak with Spartanburg Public Safety.

In all cases, Nowak says the robber never shows a weapon to the clerk.

“Basically they are using threats and saying no one will get hurt if you cooperate,” said Nowak. “Give me the money kind of thing. But the suspects stand there with their hands in their pockets."

The suspect is described as a white male, in his early thirties. Witnesses say he was about six-feet tall with a medium build and green or blue eyes.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a brown Carhartt jacket and a black knit hat with tan and white stripes.

Anyone with information about the suspect or these crimes can submit a tip anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1.888.CRIME.SC or by texting "Text-a-Tip at TIP649" with your information to CRIMES (274637).
