A different kind of Super Bowl was held in the Upstate Sunday. Milestones Church in Spartanburg collected food for local food banks through their "SOUP"er Bowl Sunday.

People were encouraged to bring things like peanut butter, soup, and pasta to donate to Total Ministries.

Kyle Parks, of Milestones Church, says it's all about meeting needs in the community.

"We can talk to people, we can tell them about God, but if we're not willing to give our money and the things we have, then our ministry, what we do here at the church doesn't mean a whole lot," Parks said. "We can give back materially as well and I think that's a good thing."
