Deputies: Man Shot During Augusta Road Burglary

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. - One person has been shot during what investigators are calling a burglary in Greenville County. 

Just before 4 a.m. Greenville County deputies were dispatched to a home on Augusta Road for a burglary call. 

 Deputies said, once they arrived they found a man shot in the leg.

That man was transported to the hospital to be treated for his gunshot wound.

Deputies say it is still early in the investigation and have no suspect description at this time. 

 The incident is under investigation by the Greenville County Sheriff's office.
