ABBEVILLE COUNTY, S.C. - An Abbeville woman is dead Sunday after being struck by a 2005 Toyota Camry.

After speaking with the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Abbeville County Coroners office, 7 On Your Side has learned that a 2005 Toyota Camry was heading west on South Carolina 28 around 9 o'clock Saturday night when the driver fatally hit 53-year-old pedestrian, Daphane Mitchell.
 
Both, the highway patrol and the coroners office are still investigating the deadly wreck that occurred just outside of Iva.

Troopers confirmed that Mitchell died while en route to Greenville Memorial Hospital.

The driver was not injured according to reports, and it is unclear as to whether the driver will face any charges.
