Cherokee County, S.C. - Two people were killed in a wreck involving a single vehicle on Darwin Road in Cherokee County Monday.

They have been identified as Lynsey Davis, 19, of Gaffney and Zekeius Sullivan, 19, of Greenville.

Investigators tell us Davis was driving north at around 1:45 p.m. when it appears she lost control of the car and hit a tree.  Both Davis and Sullivan, who was in the back seat, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Another passenger in the car was treated and released from the hospital.  Davis and the passenger in the front seat were both wearing seatbelts.  The coroner's office says it doesn't appear that Sullivan was.

Autopsies are scheduled for Tuesday.
