PROSPERITY, S.C. - The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office says that Highway 76 is now open after Monday's CSX train derailment.

Three box cars loaded with large paper rolls went off the track and caused the eastbound lane of Highway 76 (C.R. Koon Highway) to be closed.

CSX says the train was transporting goods for local businesses.
