A tractor-trailer has been removed after it became is stuck under a railroad bridge in Spartanburg County.

The S.C. Highway Patrol reports the 18-wheeler got stuck under the bridge on New Cut Road at Howard Street around 8:45 a.m.

Photos from a 7 On Your Side photographer shows the cab was separated from the trailer. That left New Cut Road blocked..

Highway Patrol troopers, Una and Hilltop firefighters and employees of the railroad were called to the scene.

We're told the air was deflated from the trailer tires. that lowered the trailer which was then removed. the road was back open about two hours later.
