Missing mom and baby found safe, Brunswick County authorities say

SHALOTTE, NC -

Brunswick County Sheriff's Office Detectives say that a Shallotte woman  who was missing along with her 13 month old daughter has been found.

Trish Elizabeth Whitley, age 33, had been last seen by her father on Monday at approximately 4:30 pm in the 1700 block of Chadwick Landing in Shallotte.

Whitley and her 1 year old daughter were in a 2007 Black Chevrolet HHR.

Just before 6 pm Friday, officials in Brunswick County said that Whitley was found and was safe.
