More than 70 second grade students from Etowah Elementary dressed up as their favorite historical character Friday as part of the school's annual wax museum.
George Washington, Mickey Mantle, Shirley Temple, Albert Einstein and George Bush were all in attendance.
The second grade wax museum has been a tradition for students and teachers for the past decade.
The students must research a character of their choice and then write up a brief history on that person.
During the hour-long wax museum, the students must sit quietly. Each child has a button and when its pressed, they come to life and describe their character.
Teachers say it helps students learn how to research, write and speak publicly about a topic.
