Wofford In Milwaukee Preparing For Thursday Tourney Game

SPARTANBURG, S.C - Wofford College arrived in Milwaukee Tuesday afternoon as the Terriers prepare for Thursday night's NCAA Tourney first round game against last year's runner-up, Michigan.

Tip-off is 7:10 p.m. and the game will be aired on 7 On Your Side as part of CBS' NCAA Tourney coverage.

The Terriers are the 15-seed in the Midwest Region and bring a 20-12 record to the tournament as champs of the Southern Conference.

Michigan is 25-7 and won the Big Ten regular season title.  The Wolverines feel to their rival Michigan State in Sunday's Big Ten Tournament championship game.

It's the Terriers third trip in the past five seasons to the NCAA Tourney and second time during this stretch that they'll face a team from the Big Ten Conference.  In 2010, a 13th-seeded Wofford team lost in its NCAA Division I tourney debut to fourth-seeded Wisconsin, 53-49, in Jacksonville.

Wofford and Michigan have met once before, on December 2, 2006 in Ann Arbor and the Wolverines took a 83-49 victory.
