ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. - Kenneth Lewis, 22, Randle Lewis, 20, Cassidy Lewis, 19, and Taylor Brooke Lewis, 17, have been arrested and charged with Petit Larceny.  All four suspects are siblings and are from Greenville, according to authorities.

Investigators say they were caught on surveillance leaving Anderson County PAWS without paying for three puppies.

We're told one of the puppies was recovered Wednesday night. Investigators say Iggy, an American Pit Bull mix, was sold by one of the suspects to a woman in Spartanburg. The puppy is back at PAWS and in good health.

Another dog, an American Blue Heeler mix named Martha, was promised to a family. The family has since adopted another dog.  The shelter is also looking for Nila, a Border Collie/Retriever mix.

PAWS director Jessica Cwynar tells us if someone bought one of the puppies they can adopt them, but the shelter needs to make sure all the paper work is done properly.

“I wish to thank the citizens of Anderson County for their assistance in quickly identifying these individuals," Sheriff John Skipper stated.  "You are our eyes and ears in the community. We cannot be everywhere; but we know that we can count on you to help us when we need it. Thank you.”

Officials say overwhelming information was called in from the public concerning this case.

According to background checks, Randle, Cassidy and Taylor were also recently arrested for burglary in Pickens County and shoplifting in Anderson County earlier this month. We've been told deputies from both counties recognized the siblings from surveillance photos.

The investigation continues.
