CLEMSON, S.C. - Clemson forward Jaron Blossomgame won't be available for Sunday's game against Illinois to due a stress fracture he suffered on a shin during Tuesday night's win over Georgia State.

Blossomgame says the injury is unrelated to one he had on the same leg two years ago.

The redshirt freshman averages 4.5 points and 5.0 rebournds per game and said he's optimistic he could return to action if the Tigers advance to round three of the N.I.T.

Head coach Brad Brownwell was non-committal to Blossomgame's availability for the remainder of the season Friday afternoon.
