Upstate Freeze Warning Wednesday Morning, Chilly Temps Throughout Day

SPARTANBURG, S.C -

A Freeze Warning is in effect for the Upstate and NE GA until 10 AM Wednesday. The mountains will see lows into the lower 20s with clear skies.

We will see sunshine and cold temperatures today with highs in the low 50s for the Upstate and low 40s for the mountains.

Cold, freezing temperatures are expected again overnight with clear skies. Lows will fall to the low 30s for the Upstate and low middle 20s in the mountains. Sunshine and warmer temperatures return for Thursday.

Another system arrives Saturday, and ahead of it we'll find a chance for rain on Friday and then again Saturday morning.

Skies will clear late Saturday to bring in lots of sun for Sunday. Highs will be above average again by Saturday as the Upstate will have 70s around.

The mountains will be in the upper 60s Saturday, lower 60s behind the front on Sunday.
