Rutherford Men Accused of Having Stolen Guns, Property, Drugs

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. - Deputies in Rutherford County arrested two men during after searching a home and finding guns, drugs and stolen property.

The sheriff's office says deputies found 5 grams of methamphetamine, 72 grams of marijuana, 1 stolen wheeler, 2 stolen guns and 11 road signs inside the home on Morning Star Lake Road.

Jacob Tyler Buchanan is charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and 2 counts of possession stolen goods and property. Buchanan received a $50,000.00 secured bond.

Peter Franklin Ledford is charged with possessing drug paraphernalia, possessing stolen firearm, possessing methamphetamine. A judge set bond at $30,000.00.

Both remain in the Rutherford County Detention facility.
