ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. -

Five suspects have been arrested in Anderson County after a recent burglary in Pelzer.  Four of the faces may look familiar.

Kenneth, Randle, Cassidy and Taylor Lewis were all recently taken into custody after investigators say they stole puppies from Anderson County PAWS.  They were charged with petit larceny in the case.  Read more here.

Late last month, after the dog theft incident, the four suspects, along with Perry Sprayberry, broke into a storage building on Steward Street in Pelzer and took a welder, authorities say.

According to a news release from the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, they were captured on camera at a scrap metal dealer in Greenville trying to steal the welder.

They left the welder at the business after the dealer refused to buy it from them, suspecting it was stolen, investigators say.

All five have been charged with burglary and larceny.

The welder has been returned to its owner.
