SPARTANBURG, S.C - It will be a battle of Cinderella teams as seventh-seeded Connecticut will play eighth-seeded Kentucky for the NCAA men's basketball championship Monday night at 9 p.m. on 7 On Your Side WSPA-TV.

Connecticut (31-8) continued its stunning run in the tournament by knocking of No. 1 seeded Florida 63-53 Saturday night. Led by forward DeAndre McDaniel's double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, the Huskies overcame an early 12-point deficit to knock off the Gators and end their 30-game win streak. Guard Shabazz Napier, whose performance has mirrored that of former teammate Kemba Walker's during their 2011 NCAA Tournament championship, scored 12 points.

Meanwhile, Kentucky continued to surprise as the Wildcats (29-10) came from behind once again in their fourth-straight upset of a higher seeded team by beating second-ranked Wisconsin 74-73 in the final seconds Saturday night.

One of Kentucky's sensational five freshmen, Aaron Harrison, continued his clutch play in the tournament as he caught a pass from his twin brother Andrew, and hit a 3-pointer with 5.7 seconds remaining in the game to pull off the upset and advance to the championship game. The shot was the culmination of a game where both teams battled back-and-forth throughout. Harrison, who nailed a three-pointer at the buzzer to defeat Michigan in the Elite Eight, only scored eight points but it was his final three that made the difference.

Fellow freshman James Young led the Wildcats with 17 points and five rebounds, while another freshman, Julius Randle scored 16 points and had six rebounds.

Kentucky is vying for its ninth national championship, and second in the past three seasons, while UConn is going for its fourth national title and first since the 2011 season.

Tipoff is scheduled for 9:10 p.m. at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
