Man Wanted After Shooting Between Cars In Pickens Area

PICKENS, S.C. - An arrest warrant has been issued in connection with shooting incidents in Pickens.

Christopher Radrico Mayes, 35, is wanted for attempted murder.

Investigators with the Pickens Police Department say they were called to Henderson and Neely streets to a report of shots fired between two vehicles Monday just before 5:30 p.m.  Around the same time, the Pickens County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the Store and More Mobile Station outside the city limits for additional shots fired in the area.

Two people were injured in the shooting.  Further details are still uncertain at this time.
