LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. - The driver of a motorcycle has died after a crash on Bob White Drive in Laurens County.

The crash happened on Friday about 2 miles south of Waterloo when the driver lost control, ran off the road and hit a tree.  The driver was ejected from the motorcycle, according to investigators.

Troopers tell us the driver was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The person was airlifted to the hospital and later died on Monday.

The identity of the driver has not yet been released.
