D.C.'s City Wildlife Cares For Injured Baby Squirrel

Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON (WRIC) -- After falling 75 feet from a tree, a baby squirrel is recuperating with an over-sized cast at D.C.'s City Wildlife.

The baby squirrel landed on a sidewalk and broke its ankle. Caretakers are helping it to recover and say it should heal quickly, according to a tweet from the organization.

City Wildlife is a nonprofit group formed in 2008 to establish the first-ever wild animal rescue and rehabilitation center in D.C.
