Orlando FL – Recently Eric B. Delisle the CEO of DigiThinkIt, a local technology and software design company spoke to Fox 35 News Orlando about ways to keep yourself safe online. The U.S. recently issued a security warning about the Internet Explorer Browser and advised computer users to consider using alternatives to Microsoft Corp’s Internet Explorer browser until the company fixes a security flaw that hackers used to launch attacks.

Delisle says, “If you don’t know how to disable the Flash plug-in, you can always stop using Internet Explorer temporarily and switch to a different web browser”. He suggests moving to alternatives like Google Chrome or Firefox. In addition to this, Microsoft encourages customers to enable a firewall, apply all software updates and install anti-malware software.

Delisle, released some helpful hints which he calls, “Internet Explorer’s New Zero-Day Vulnerability and How to Protect Your Computer”. Visit: http://bit.ly/1iCbt3b to find out more helpful hints on how to protect your computer.

Through his blog, Delisle talks about how Microsoft issued a security advisory. Which warns users about a new vulnerability on Internet Explorer versions 9 through 11, through which hackers have already begun targeting vulnerable machines. He further says that the attack takes advantage of the way Internet Explorer deletes memory by way of corrupting and executing arbitrary code from that memory. Attackers have already found ways to deliver the exploits through fake online ads and campaigns to unaware users.
