Spartanburg Police Make 7 Prostitution Arrests

SPARTANBURG, S.C -
Spartanburg Police made seven prostitution arrests Wednesday in a sting operation prompted by complaints on the north side.

Undercover officers arrested seven women starting around 6:00 p.m. in the area at Franklin Street, Rookard Court, Howard Street, Ridge Street
and Magnolia Street.

The seven women were charged with solicitation to prostitution. The women arrested and identified by Spartanburg Police include Alice Fay Carroll, Jammicka Dawkins, Lyda Lipscomb, Jessica Mae Rhodes, Cynthia Louise Melton and Jessica Ann Boyce.  

Spartanburg Police say this is an example of their officers reacting to community concerns.
