Wake Forest PD release composite sketch of sexual assault suspect

WAKE FOREST, N.C. -

The Wake Forest Police Department has released a composite sketch of the man accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old on a nature trail on May 26.

On Monday afternoon, police responded to an alleged sexual assault along the Sanford Creek Greenway. The 14-year-old victim told police he was walking along the greenway when the man approached him and then forced him into the woods.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his teens or early 20s, with patchy dark facial hair, standing 6’ to 6’4” tall, weighing 160-170 pounds.

Anyone who may be able to identify the suspect is asked to call the Wake Forest Police Department Tip Line at 919-435-9610.
