Seneca Woman Accused Of Stealing Truck

OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. - Deputies arrested Christy Ashtin Worley on Wednesday and charged her with grand theft. Worley is accused of stealing a 2008 maroon GMC Sierra with a black colored Tontico bed cover from a location on Meldau Road in Seneca. The truck was valued at $17,000.

Wednesday morning, a man called Oconee County deputies and said that his wife heard a noise that woke her up around 3:00am. The man said he found the truck was missing around 6:00am.

Worley was arrested later in the day and taken to the detention center.

Worley also had outstanding magistrate’s bench warrants from May 14th of this year on charges of driving under the influence and transporting alcohol in a motor vehicle with the seal broken.
