Black bear lies down in hammock in Daytona Beach

Posted: Updated:
DAYTONA BEACH, FL (WFLA) -

A black bear that wandered into a Daytona Beach neighborhood on Thursday apparently needed a rest.

WESH.com reports that the bear walked around the residential area, knocking over trash cans and startling residents.

Photographer Rafael Torres said he followed the bear as it climbed into a hammock and stayed there for about twenty minutes.

Torres says the bear then wandered back into the woods around 8:15 p.m.
