Students at 158 elementary schools throughout North Carolina will enjoy more fresh fruits and vegetables during the 2014-2015 school year thanks to a $4 million grant from the USDA Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program.

Schools here in the East include:

Beaufort County -- Eastern and SW Snowden
Bertie County -- Aulander, Colerain, West Bertie and Windsor
Craven County -- James W Smith, JT Barber, Oaks Road and Vanceboro
Jones County -- Pollocksville and Trenton
Pitt County -- Belvoir and Northwest
