Deputies Investigating Multiple Shootings in Anderson Co. Saturday

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. - Anderson County Sheriff's office is investigating multiple shootings that happened Saturday. According to reports, a woman's house was shot two times, another woman had been shot twice in the shoulder and there was a drive-by shooting that left one dead and another injured. 

Around 5:00am, deputies responded to South McDuffie St in reference to a possible shooting. When they arrived, a woman who lived at the home said she woke to what she thought was bullets striking her house. The deputies observed who bullet holes in the side of the house and found one of the projectiles in the bedroom. The woman said she did not want to press charges and there has been no suspect named at this times. 

Later in the day, at 9:30pm according to the reports, deputies were dispatched another possible shooting at West Whitner Street and Appleton Street. When they arrived, they were informed that a woman had been shot was transporting herself to the hospital. She was located on Reed Rd near Bradley Park. Deputies were informed that she was driving through the area when she had been shot twice in the left shoulder. She was then transported to the hospital by EMS. 

Also at 9:30pm, deputies responded to a possible drive-by shooting in the area of Hall St and Oliver St. Two victims had been driven to the ER and one died of a gunshot wound while the other was in stable condition. To read more about this shooting, click here

There have been no arrests at this time and all shooting remain under investigation.
