No Charges For Hillcrest Principal For Failure To Report Bomb Threat

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. - The Simpsonville Police Department says it will not pursue any charges against Hillcrest High School's principal after they say he failed to notify law enforcement of a bomb threat.

Authorities say they will let the Greenville County School District handle the matter.

The school was evacuated last Thursday after the threat was found written on a bathroom wall.

Investigators say the principal knew about the threat for around one week and failed to let them know.

Officials are investigating three other threats that happened at the school in the past month.

The investigation into the threats is ongoing.  If you have any information, call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
