Pinehurst, NC - Greer's Bill Haas played the front nine first Friday (as opposed to Thursday when he teed-off on the second nine) but had similar results to his opening round at the U.S. Open as he fired a second straight two-over-par 72 to post a two-round score of four over par, making the cut by one stroke.

Haas is 14 strokes behind leader Martin Kaymer, the German who scored a second straight five-under 65 and at 10 under par has the best two round total in U.S. Open history.

Greenville native Lucas Glover, the 2009 U.S. Open champion, followed an opening nine over 79 with a one-under 69 but at plus eight failed to make the cut.
