Greer Teen Dies After Head-On I-85 Crash

The crash happened near Exit 5B in the area of the Hearon Circle interchange around 4:15 a.m. The crash happened near Exit 5B in the area of the Hearon Circle interchange around 4:15 a.m.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - A 17-year-old from Greer is dead after he was injured in a Friday morning wrong-way crash.

The Spartanburg County Coroner's office says Allen Turlak died Saturday night at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Troopers say a woman was driving the wrong way on Business 85 Friday and struck Turlak and another man head on.

All three people were extricated from their wrecked cars and taken away by ambulance.

The condition of the other two people is not known at this time.
