SUNSET, S.C. (AP) -

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says the Tigers won't slow down, even without the two offensive stars that made them go in receiver Sammy Watkins and quarterback Tajh Boyd.

Swinney says returning players from last year's 11-2 team have a chip on their shoulders eager to prove that Clemson wasn't simply a Boyd-to-Watkins combo the past three seasons. Although, it was an very effective strategy as Boyd finished his career with an Atlantic Coast Conference record of 107 touchdown passes, 27 of those to Watkins.

This time, the high-flying offense is in the hands of senior Cole Stoudt, the son of former NFL passer Cliff Stoudt and Boyd's longtime backup. At wideout, the Tigers are counting on speedy Charone Peake to return to form after an injury last year.
