Suspect Injured By Owners Of Home In Custody

Posted: Updated:
SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -

Spartanburg County Deputies were at the scene of a reported home invasion on Center Street in Mayo late Tuesday night.

When deputies arrived, they say they were informed that the suspect, Scott Bostic, entered the home and drew a double barreled shotgun on the occupants. Bostic then allegedly asked that all of them get on the ground without their clothes on and hand over any money or drugs that they had on them. Bostic fired his weapon into a wall and was then subdued by the residents.

Deputies say that after getting Bostic out to a truck, he was taken back to the residence of a friend, where deputies would eventually find him with injuries to his face.  These injuries were the result of Bostic having to be subdued, according to deputies.

Bostic is recovering from those injuries at a nearby hospital. After he has been treated, deputies will serve Bostic with warrants for his arrest after they transport him to the detention center.
