3-story closet has it all including champagne bar

Posted: Updated:
Many guys have their coveted "man cave," but a Houston area woman has a "she cave" that will probably put them all to shame. It's a 3-story, 3,000 square-foot closet housing everything from designer shoes to clothes.

Theresa Roemer's closet has been a lifelong dream. The boutique-like design was the result of collaboration between Roemer and her friend, designer Thom Anderson from Houston. It's more than a sea of red-soled Christian Louboutins. She also has Oscar De La Renta couture, an array of furs, a purse collection worth millions and a Birkin corner.

But the amazing closet of treasures was built and intended for fundraising. She just moved in just a few weeks ago and already, a fundraiser held in her closet, has netted tens of thousands of dollars for charity.

And recently, a party in her closet was an auction item at the American Heart Association. For years, Roemer has helped raise millions for places like Texas Children's hospital and Child Legacy International. She says this closet will continue to get the women she hosts, to open their hearts and checkbooks for the causes she supports. The champagne bar helps too.
