Raymond James Stadium rolls out new food menu

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) -

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been very busy this off-season doing everything from hiring a new head coach, to enhancing the Bucs logo, and adding more than forty new players to the team. And Wednesday, they unveiled a new food menu.

Pretzels, chicken wings, burgers, pizza, Cuban sandwiches - all on the new concessions menu at Raymond James Stadium.

"The feedback we got was variety, speed of service," said the Bucs Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford. "People told us 'I don't want to stand in line. I came here to watch a football game and not stand in line at Raymond James Stadium.'"

The 14 newly renovated general concessions feature all new food prep equipment with a new look plus four new beverage stands. The menus are re-branded in a Tampa Bay theme, with new menus reflecting the area's diverse culinary scene.

Both the east and west main concourses feature the following food locations: Taste of Tampa will have the popular Cuban sandwich; Desoto Deli serves the new Deli Dog topped with pastrami, spicy mustard and a Swiss cheese sauce; Bay Burger serves fresh hamburgers; Red Sail Spice is the place for some spice featuring the new Red Sail Dog with Sriracha mustard, pickled cabbage and scallion curls; Galley has traditional favorites like nachos and pretzels; Chicken Coup has chicken tenders and wings; and Pizza Plank, with gourmet pizza by the slice. In addition, the new Swashbuckler Bar, with craft beer and frozen drinks, is in each corner of the stadium.

The new food menu will be available to Bucs fans at home games starting this Saturday when the Bucs take on the Miami Dolphins in their first home pre-season game.
