Deputies Looking To I.D. Spartanburg Fondling Suspect

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -

The Special Victims Unit of the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in trying to identify a fondling suspect.

They say the first incident occurred at Target at 8199 Warren H. Abernathy Hwy. around. 9:45 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2014. 

That incident occurred outside and deputies haven't been able to locate any video of the incident, suspect, or his vehicle. 

The second incident occurred 10 minutes later at the Ingles at 8004 Warren H. Abernathy Hwy. at approx. 9:55 PM, also on Sunday, August 17th. 

They say that incident occurred inside the store, and although the incident itself wasn't captured on video, they say they were able to get a still photograph of suspect while he was still inside the store. 

DESCRIPTION

white male in his early 20's

Wearing a white T-shirt with an O or zero on the back, dark shorts, and a hat, 

Driving a dark colored sedan. 

Anyone with any information is asked to call Investigator Victoria Horton at (864) 503-4580 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888- CRIME-SC. Tipsters calling either number can remain anonymous, and if their information leads to the identification of the suspect, they can receive a cash reward.

    Dozens of drivers have filed complaints with the South Carolina Department of Transportation over loose gravel along a stretch of I-85.
