Cooking Oil Spill Contained In Anderson Co.

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. - A tanker disposing of cooking oil leaked around 50 gallons of it in Honea Path on Tuesday.

Anderson County Hazmat says the leak happened around 7:30 a.m.

The cooking oil leaked into the parking lot between Hardee's and China 1 Buffet on East Greer Street in Honea Path.

No roads were closed due to the leak.

By 8:45 a.m. hazmat said the spill was being cleaned up by the crews that were disposing of it.
