Child Injured After Car Hits Stroller

SPARTANBURG, S.C -

Spartanburg Police say a child was taken to a hospital after a car crashed into a stroller.

According to investigators, a woman was pushing the stroller through a crosswalk on Church Street in downtown Spartanburg when the accident happened. Police said the 18-month-old child fell out of the stroller and got a bump on the head. The woman was hit on the arm. The injuries don't appear to be life threatening.

Police issued two citations for failure to yield to pedestrian.
