Elise Delvin Headshot

Elise Devlin joined the 7NEWS team in September 2022 as a multimedia journalist.

She comes to the Upstate from Chicago, where she earned her Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University. While there, Elise was an anchor and reporter for CAN-TV and a freelance writer, with one of her pieces seen on the front page of the Chicago Tribune.

Previously, she graduated in 3 years from Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and an emphasis in journalism, as well as a minor in electronic, media and film. During her time spent in Maryland, she swam for the Tigers DI Women’s Swim Team and is ranked on the top ten of all time list in the 200 backstroke there.

Elise also worked behind the scenes as an intern with Towson Sports Network and as a representative for Own Your Roar, an initiative that unites mental health and student-athletes. Additionally, she served as a member of the university’s student-athlete advisory committee.

Elise has always known she wanted to be a journalist because of her love for storytelling and the power it has.

It was during the Summer of 2021 when the New Jersey native first got to know the Palmetto State, while interning with WHHI-TV, and she is excited to now call it home and tell your stories.

She would love to hear from you, whether it’s to share news tips, ideas or just to say hello.
