Jaylan was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi and raised throughout various states in the Southeast. He Joined 7NEWS digital team in November 2022.
Jaylan began to find his love for writing and journalism throughout his time in college. Jaylan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Mississippi State University.
When Jaylan is not at work he loves spending times with his family, traveling, watching sporting events, and trying new restaurants.
